Hello!

About me:

My name is Rowena, and I'm an animal lover who would love to look after your pet for you! I absolutely adore animals of all kinds, and I can assure you that I would only provide the utmost care when looking after you fur-child. I'm a vegetarian, a Social Worker and I am currently studying to do my Masters Degree in International Development. This means that I'm really flexible with my time and decided that this is the perfect opportunity for me to surround myself with more animals! I have my own dog, Gracie, who is an 8 year old Koolie. I got her from a rescue organisation when she was 6 months old and she is the best little buddy I could ask for. I love to go on adventures with my dog, walks along the beach, socialise at the local dog park or anyone else we can go.

My experience with animals:

I have grown up with pet dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs and mice! I have worked on a dairy farm, I’ve volunteered for an animal shelter and while living in India I worked for an animal hospital/refuge assisting with dogs, cats, donkeys, cows and a monkey. When I was younger I did a course with the RSPCA on obedience training, so I'm good with basic dog training. I've always been a keen pet-sitter for my friends.

What I can offer:

I am available to do home visits to spend time with your pet, feed them, walk them, groom them, or whatever your pet might require. I am also available to have your pet stay at my house to provide the care he/she needs while you're away. I will give your beloved animal all the love and attention and cuddles they need! I am able to work with any animals (although I don't have experience with snakes), and can accommodate for any special needs etc. I'm also happy to send photos and updates.

As a dog owner, I understand how hard it is to trust other people with your pet, but I can provide the care needed to make sure your animal is well looked after, safe and happy.
