Your pet will be the only pet being looked after at our property at any one time (we only take two dogs simultaneously if from the same family) - apart from our guinea pig which we move to the front yard when we are hosting your dog. 

When we look after your dog you get the whole family, not just me, so it is really important your pet is good with kids, especially our youngest daughter who is 8 years old. Our 10 year old boy will play with your dog a lot, and our 16 year old daugher is very responsible - she will walk your dog in the quiet streets surrounding our home, as will my wife and I at times. Having young kids we are very fussy with larger dogs breeds, so please don't be offended if your dog is not the right fit for my family. 

Our backyard is a generous size, well shaded, and is fully fenced. We have a large undercover pergola (shown in images) where your dog can comfortably avoid the rain or sun. We also have an indoor partitioned rear section of the garage opening directly onto the backyard (see photos) where dogs usually sleep at night.

So far we've looked after over 20 different dogs in our backyard, and even some rabbits. The whole family enjoyed these experiences so much we have decided to continue offering this service for more child friendly dogs. We are also very comfortable taking care of any medication your dog may require. 

We look forward to welcoming your pet into our friendly family and our lovely backyard so you can enjoy your time away and your pet can have their own special vacation. Given our own potential holiday plans, we usually cannot commit to bookings more than one month in advance. Outside of school holidays we prefer weekend or long weekend bookings to ensure your pet gets plenty of attention from our three kids (might make a 'during school term' exception for a non barking French Bulldog or Pug), but during school holiday periods we can easily do a week long booking for most kid friendly breeds.
