Not totally selflessly motivated, my dog would benefit from some canine company as well, therefore I will charge the lowest prices possible.
My Zara is maybe not the most easy going dog around, so it will mostly depend if they get along. Too boisterous and in-her face dogs are probably a no-no. She generally prefers male doggie friends :)
A meet & greet beforehand is therefore a MUST, and same day bookings a little too short notice. Best would be for
boarding to start on a weekend so I am around a little more.
Probably only boarding one dog would be best at this stage, as she can get a bit overwhelmed in bigger packs, she probably hasn't had a very social upbringing.
She's lived with other dogs before, so is not totally antisocial, just a little picky and a bit nervous. So I have experience with that. I've looked after friends pets with her, and she was good with the dogs, the cat and the rabbit.
My yard is fully fenced, but maybe not suitable for an escape artist. And I won't be home 24/7 even on the weekends.
I work full time still, but during the day my dog has access to the inside and outside of the house. I walk my own dog morning and night without fail, and we have beautiful trails in our back yard. We jog quite often in the mornings. She's off leash a lot, but I'd do whatever your dog is used to.
Dogs stay inside with me, get spoiled and are generally allowed anywhere. We have largish yard that is not nicely landscaped, so digging etc does not bother me.
So any dog staying will get plenty of exercise, and plenty of attention!
I've had Zara for 7 years now (she is 10)
Unfortunately I don't have hardly any photos of me without sunnies :)
