Hi there, my name is Aída. I'm a Brazilian wildlife biologist, and I just returned to Australia, after a year off in my home country. Before that, I lived here for nearly 5 years studying the behaviour of Great Bowerbirds. I'm truly passionate about animals in general. I've been dedicating most of my academic life studying birds and frogs in nature. So besides being part of my job, I also enjoy birdwatching and frogwatching in my free time just for fun! :D

if not in nature, you will probably find me swing dancing here and there. I love a good swinging jazz.

I have back home in Brazil two dogs and a cat (she's the one sleeping on my chest in one of the photos). I miss them dearly, so I take every chance I can to spend some time with my friends' pets here. I would love to spend some time with yours too! I am happy to visit your place as many times as you need, walk and play with your furry friend. I live in Barwon Heads, and I currently can work from home (so I'm flexible with time and place). I also have my own car, so I am happy to pet sit in the Geelong area as well. Unfortunately, I can't take pets to my place because of tenancy restrictions.
