Hi, I’m Sandy.

I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and have always felt happiest with animals around. My husband, Sunny, also adores spending time with them — we foster with the RSPCA and recently cared for a beautiful German Shepherd girl who’s now thriving in her forever home. Seeing rescue dogs grow in confidence and find love has been one of the most rewarding parts of our lives.

We live near Pratten Park in Ashfield, with a fully fenced backyard and easy access to on-leash and off-leash parks. It’s a calm, tidy, and sunny home where pets can play, nap, and relax. I love gardening and spending time outdoors with the dogs, while Sunny enjoys taking them on long walks and playing fetch — keeping our furry guests active and happy.

I’m an accountant in the NSW public sector, and Sunny works in IT. We often work from home, so your pet will have plenty of company and care throughout the day. I can prepare fresh meals, offer enrichment treats like KONGs or slow feeders, provide daily photo updates, and bathe dogs if their stay is longer than two weeks. I may also check in about their flea treatment plan so I can assist with medication if needed — all to keep them happy, comfortable, and loved.

We sometimes may have other dogs in care from the RSPCA, and we make sure all introductions are gradual and only with pets who get along well. I’ll always let you know if there’s any overlap during your dog’s stay so you can feel comfortable.

We normally host no more than two pets at a time and carefully match sizes and temperaments. For the comfort and safety of everyone, we welcome friendly, sociable dogs who are comfortable around other pets.
