My name is Laura and I am a huge animal lover, all creatures great and small and have always had a pet since I was a little girl. I would love the opportunity to get to know your furbaby.
I have lived in Cambodia the past 4 years teaching children English and have recently moved back to Sydney.I have a 9 month old baby so pets must be baby friendly, we would love our little one to be a pet lover as well. I am home all day and would love some company at home and on my daily walks. I can pop out for a short periods of time to run errands eg. to the grocery store, library etc. So your pet will never be alone for very long.
We live in an apartment and thus the request for small- medium, non-barky/yappy by nature animals only (random barks are fine:) ) We do have a decent sized secured courtyard with access to grassy common areas for some extra play time. If you choose us to board your pet we are very flexible in where it can sleep depending on your pet’s preference. They can sleep indoors/ outdoors, in our room (excluding our bed) in the lounge room...whatever their preference. We will play together, as well as go for a couple of 30 - 40 min walks a day in one of the many surrounding parks and Artarmon Reserve (which has an off leash area most days should you pet love a big run and is comfortable being off leash).
Living in our home is just me and my husband and little one who also adores animals big and small. As we currently don’t have any animals, your pet will be loved and cared for as if it were a member of our family.
Before moving back to Sydney we were house sitters on a farm on the NSW South Coast for two months. During that time we looked after 2 Newfoundlands and a Golden Retriever along with chickens, ducks, goats and sheep. This sparked the idea if we can’t have our own pet straight away why not share our love for animals with other people’s pets.
At the moment I am looking to take on duties such as Dog/ Pet Boarding and Doggy/ Pet Day Care.
