I am a passionate animal enthusiast who genuinely loves caring for all pets big and small. Although I am currently a full time primary school teacher, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have been involved in the animal industry for over 8 years now and counting. My experiences include working in a puppy daycare and cattery, as well as being a receptionist in veterinary hospitals. I was also the Adoption Coordinator for Cat Rescue Dunedin when living in NZ. Being part of rescue work, I have also fostered hundreds of kittens over the years, many of which were bottle fed around the clock. It's a tough job, but such a rewarding experience it holds a very special place in my heart.

Dog walking is second nature to me, and I really enjoy getting out and about. When walking my own dog I like to go for a good hour to get that exercise in, but I am willing to work around what suits your dog! I can stay around your neighbourhood, or have a car to transport them to a beach or park if that is what they would prefer.

I share my life with 3 of my own fur-babies: Nina, an energetic Cavoodle, Simba, my clever ginger cat who thinks he is human, and Hermione, my super affectionate princess meow. With these three ruling the roost, I am not able to board your pets at my own place, but more than happy to visit your pets or house sit in your home. I am happy to handle medications, stick to feeding plans and any additonal needs your pets may need. If you have any chickens, sheep, horses or goats that need fed in addition to your cats and dogs, rest assured I have them covered too! I understand all too well how stressful it can be to go away leaving your pets with someone that's not yourself. I can guarantee your pets will be treated like my own. I will love them and genuinely care for them, making sure they are happy and well. I always send plenty of photo updates and communicate often for your peace of mind.
