Hello! We're a family of four and we love hosting dogs. Our aim is for your pet to feel totally at home and enjoy their holiday while you enjoy yours. We've been on Pawshake since 2014 so we have lots of experience with many different breeds. We have so many happy memories from all the dogs we've looked after! 

You'll get lots of photos and updates while you're away so you can see what your four-legged friend is up to and be assured that they are having as much fun as you. 

Our kids (13 and 7) are dog-obsessed and will treat your dog like family. The youngest loves cuddling up on the couch with our visitors. We usually walk them twice a day - once in the morning and a second walk in the evening. 

We love having dogs come to stay for longer periods so they can settle in and enjoy being part of our family, but we also offer doggy daycare.

I work from home and my eldest son is home educated so we're home most of the time and can offer lots of company and cuddles with your pet. We live in a medium-size ground floor unit with an enclosed garden.The garden is narrow but stretches around the side and back of our unit, so there's plenty of room to stretch legs and have a snuffle. Your dog will be living and sleeping inside the house unless you request otherwise.

We've looked after all sizes of dogs from shih zhus to staffies, labs and groodles. We're open to any type as long as they are friendly and relatively low-maintenance. However, we're not taking puppies at the moment as they need more attention than we can give them.

Services offered

• Pet boarding: Flexible drop off and pick up times. Fully secured yard and 1 to 2 walks a day.
• Doggy day care: Drop off from 8am, pick up by 7pm. One walk a day.

About your dog

• We often host multiple dogs (usually a maximum of 3) so we need dogs that are happy to live alongside other dogs.
• We can only take dogs that are good with young children. Our youngest (7) knows to be gentle and respectful towards dogs.
• Does not chew toys or other non-dog items. 
• Doesn't bark a lot - we live in a ground floor unit, so need to host quieter dogs. We want to stay on good terms with our neighbours :)
• Please ensure your dog is wormed for their safety and the safety of other doggy visitors. 
• Is older than 12 months.
