Hi there! I have recently moved to Townsville with my husband into a beautiful neighbourhood, full of parks and doggy friendly areas. Passionate animal lover I followed my dream and graduated from Vet school a couple of years ago. Following graduation, we lived in Papua New Guinea where I volunteered at the SPCA.

Being a vet I am completely comfortable looking after all sorts of animals including animals on medications. Know your pet is in good hands and put your mind at ease with the assurance that any sort of medical problem will be handled appropriately. Sensitive stomach? Overweight pet? No worries, I can formulate a diet to help your pet while they are in my care and create a meal plan that you can take home. I can assist in basic training and behavioural problems. I can also offer basic grooming for dogs for an additional price.

Petsitting: Our family includes myself, my husband who is in the Australian Defence Force and our cats. Our house has a gorgeous backyard offering plenty of shade, grass, 6ft secure fencing and even a large sandpit! We can only look after one cat at a time and they must be comfortable with living indoors as they are kept strictly indoors. Having crimsafe doors it is no problem if your dog does not like or is not used to cats. Dogs will be allowed indoors if they are used to it and are okay with cats. I want to make sure we keep with your dog's routine. We can arrange for them to sleep inside or outside, whatever you prefer. Know your dog will get plenty of walks and even day trips. Have your mind at ease that your pet will not be able to escape . I work 4days a week so when your pet is home alone they will have plenty of enrichment and stimulation to keep them happy and relaxed. Daily dog walks in our beautiful area is a given. I can also provide basic training if requested. Be sure to expect regular updates and plenty of photos.

Grooming: Dogs staying longer than a week will receive a complimentary bath on return. I can provide basic grooming including shaving (Recently purchased a nice new set so need to give it a run). My choice of shampoo is an oatmeal base as it is especially gentle and soothing on the skin.

Dog walking: Don't have the time to walk your pooch? I can walk your dog around your area or take them out to busy places like the strand if your pup needs the exposure. Walks are for 45-60mins long (give or take depending on what your pup wants). I am very confident with reactive and strong dogs of all sizes. For the more active pooches my husband is incredibly active and loves going for runs. Know your pup is going to be well and truly worn out when they get home!
