I love animals, all kinds in fact. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, the list goes on. This passion for spending time with Mother Nature's best creations has led to me pursuing my studies in Veterinary Medicine. I want to be a pet sitter because it is a form of relaxation for me and it would defnitely allow me to understand the behaviour and personalities of the animals. This serves a learning journey for me and would help me in the future when I become a Vet.
I have experience working with animals during my time at a Veterinary Clinic where I looked after sick and injured animals. I also volunteered at a dog shelter which has taught me how to handle difficult dogs. I do have some experience with birds as well when I did my internship at Jurong Bird Park in Singapore.
In terms of Exotics, I do have basic experience with tortoise and snakes during my time as a volunteer with ACRES Singapore, a wildlife rescue organisation.
In terms of services, I am willing to take your pet for walks, shower them, feed them, give them medication if necessary and most importanly, make them feel comfortable.
Vanathy is a terrific pet sitter. We travelled overseas for just over three weeks and were concerned about getting the right pet sitter for our two felines, one of whom can be a little demanding. Vanathy was friendly, polite, conscientious and maintained daily contact with us while we were travelling. It was lovely to receive photos each day and a brief update. She clearly came to understand each cat well and catered to their personalities with warmth and kindness. Vanathy clearly loves animals and is a lovely person to deal with. I can't recommend her highly enough.
