About me:

I am a 20 year old University student, studying online who has always loved animals. Being online, I have some time to look after and care for some extra pets! My motivation to become a pet sitter stems from the love I have for my two animals at home - a 10 year old Pomeranian x Chihuahua and a 13 year old Murray River turtle.

I have a genuine love for animals and a strong desire to provide them with the best care possible. I find a lot of joy being surrounded by and caring for animals. I am excited to be able to build strong relationships with both the pets and their owners as well as being able to offer a peace of mind while you are away without having worries about your beloved pets.

Experience:

I have been pet sitting for around 2 years now and am experienced in looking after cats, reptiles, chickens, fish, turtles and many dog breeds including Bull Arabs, Great Danes, Hungarian Vizslas, German Shepards, Boarder Collies, Australian Terriers, Cavoodles, German Shorthaired Pointers, Toy Poodles, Pomeranians, Kelpies, Jack Russels, Fox Terriers, Staffys, Labradors, and Australian Cattle dogs and I would love to add more to the collection!

I have experience looking after senior dogs, puppies, kittens, animals needing oral medication administered, slightly tempered dogs, as well as anxious dogs.

My pets:

Boe (dog) - calm and gentle Chihuahua x Pomeranian, however can be quite timid when it comes to any sized dogs (even if they are smaller than him). To avoid any stress pets will be separated by baby gates for doggy day care and dog boarding. Happy and gentle around all cats.

Summer (turtle) - calm and happy murray river turtle that walks around the house every now and then but will be left in his tank while boarding and during day care to avoid altercations. 

Services:

House Sitting:

I can offer house sitting to any amount of pets of all sizes that require 24/7 care. Many stresses and anxieties can come with changes in routines or surroundings with pets and I am happy to be able to keep them in their familiar and comfortable environments to keep them at ease.

Dog Boarding and Day Care:

EXTRA SMALL/SMALL adult dogs only. All puppies under 1 year are welcome.

I can offer boarding / day care to maximum one small animal at a time. They will be in a safe environment with a comfortable place to nap, medium sized back yard surrounded by high fences, and with an extremely loving family of five. We also have a pool if your dog likes swimming while supervised! If so, we also have a medium sized doggy life jacket if needed when swimming. I will be able to take your pets on walks, feed them, bathe them (if necessary), and clean up after them.

Dog Walking:

I am comfortable walking any dog as long as they are trained/able to walk well on leash e.g. no excessive tugging/pulling of the leash, please make sure no cars, birds etc. are distractions for your dog that will cause them to run off. This is purely for their own and my own safety. This does not include small and extra small dogs. 

Home Visits:

I am able to drop in for one/two home visits to spend time, feed, and/or clean up after your pets of any size and any amount. Many stresses and anxieties can come with changes in routines or surroundings with pets and I am happy to be able to keep them in their familiar and comfortable environments to keep them at ease.

Additional Services:
Constant supervision: I will most likely be with your pet all the time regardless of this but I am able to constantly supervise your pet.

Emergency transport: Transportation is not an issue.

Administering oral medications: I am able to administer oral medications to your pet.

Please make sure that your pet:

- Is house trained / toilet trained unless they are a puppy - accidents are okay !

- Is not a fence jumper.

- Is fully vaccinated / desexed / treated for fleas, worms and ticks.
