Hello, my name is Erin Healy. I am an experienced dog walker and petsitter in the Newcastle area. I have been dog walking/pet sitting with Pawshake since November 2019. I also have experience as a dog walker with RSPCA and independent pet sitter, prior to joining Pawshake.

My services include dog walking and pet sitting or just dropping by for a short visit to feed and play with your pets when you are away. In terms of pet sitting, I can stay either overnight or for multiple days, to suit your needs. Please message me for any queries and to check my availability!

A bit more about me: I am 21 years old and I live in Newcastle. I study Engineering at the University of Newcastle, but before I started University I have had multiple years of experience working with all sorts of animals.

I am a very patient, caring, and enthusiastic carer with experience. In my gap year, I worked at RSPCA for over a year, in both the Cattery and as a trained dog walker. Through the RSPCA I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes with very different backgrounds and behaviors. I was always able to create a very comfortable, positive relationship with all the dogs I interacted with. In the Cattery I cleaned the cages and provided interaction with kittens and cats as well as completing behavioral assessments.Outside of the RSPCA and Paw shake, I have been a pet sitter for family friends in the past. So far I have had experience and am confident in looking after the following menagerie of animals: Dogs, Cats, Guinea Pigs, Fish, Turtles, Chicks and Chickens, Potty Lambs, and Calfs. (The chickens, potty lambs, and calves come from my family's farming background).

At the moment I am looking to earn some extra money each week and so having learned about Pawshake I am very excited to put my love of animals and regular availability to use!
