For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Tweed Heads West NSW for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Tweed Heads West NSW Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Tweed Heads West NSW sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I love animals, I have 4 dogs, german shepherds, in Spain, and I love to be surrounded by animals. I'm very responsible, I have experience with dogs, and love to take care of them! I also practice horseriding and love horses, and every animal. I'll be happy to take care of your lovely pets! I find it is a lovely job that I will enjoy and I'm sure I will give my best!
I offer to take care of your pets, staying at home with them, feeding them or taking them for a walk, whatever you need me to do for them!
I have full availability, both to stay with them at home or to take them for a walk. I'll be living here at Gold Coast, Burleigh Heads, for at least one year, so I will be happy to hear from any of you who need an extra hand with their pet :) I have no problem in moving wherever you live in Gold Coast, any question or doubt you can tell me, also I'm open to meet any day so you get to know me better!

Hi! We’re a warm, responsible family with children who absolutely adore animals. Our home is full of love, laughter, and gentle hands ready to care for your precious small pet.
We have previous experience caring for birds and dogs, however, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish are welcomed too. We understand how important routine, cleanliness, and gentle handling are for small animals. We’re comfortable with feeding schedules, cage cleaning, playtime, and giving lots of attention to keep them happy and stress-free while you’re away. For everyone’s safety and wellbeing, we only accept vaccinated pets. We care for just one owner's booking at a time to ensure calm and secure environment. We are happy to accept more than one animal if they are from the same owner and already live together, so they can stay comfortable with their familiar companion.
Your pet will be treated like part of our family — safe, supervised, and truly loved. We’re also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your little companion is in great hands.
We can’t wait to meet your furry (or feathered!) family member!

Hi, I'm Antonella, a 36-year-old originally from Argentina and living on the Gold Coast for the past four years.
I am based in Burleigh Waters very close to the beach. I have my own car. I am very outdoorsy and energetic.
I've loved animals my whole life. Growing up, there were always dogs and cats in our home, and with five siblings, there always seemed to be another rescued animal joining the family from time to time.
Although I haven't had my own pet in recent years because I've lived a fairly nomadic lifestyle, my love for animals has never changed. I genuinely enjoy being around them, understanding their different personalities, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for.
In Australia, I volunteered at a wildlife sanctuary caring for rescued native animals, which was a very rewarding experience and taught me even more about animal care and welfare.
Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I would love the opportunity to care for your pets when life gets busy. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after, while giving you peace of mind knowing they are in caring hands.
When caring for pets, I like to follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and settled. Whether that's walks, playtime, feeding schedules, cuddles on the couch or simply keeping them company, I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities.I'm happy to provide walks of up to 60 minutes, depending on your dog's age, fitness level and preferences. I enjoy being outdoors and regularly go on long walks myself, so active dogs are very welcome.I am also comfortable administering oral medication when required. My last dog had epilepsy and needed medication every day, so I understand how important consistency is. I also know that some pets can be quite clever when it comes to avoiding tablets, and I'm familiar with the little tricks needed to make sure medication is actually taken and not spat out or vomited back up afterwards.Above all, I will care for your pets with patience, attention and kindness, and treat them as if they were part of my own family.

Hi! I’m Coni, a loving and responsible pet sitter based in Rose Bay. I’ve always had a strong bond with animals, especially dogs, and I truly enjoy spending time with them.

Services I offer:

Dog walking (30 to 60-minute walks, tailored to your dog’s needs)
Home visits (feeding, playtime, cuddles, cleaning litter or accidents)
Overnight stays at your home
Hosting small dogs overnight at my place (1 dog at a time, depending on availability)

I live in a safe and peaceful home near pet-friendly parks and walking areas. When hosting, I only accept one small dog at a time to ensure they feel relaxed, loved, and cared for. Pets stay inside and sleep in cozy, secure indoor spaces.

Availability:
I’m available for daily walks, short home visits, or overnight stays at your place. I can also host small vaccinated dogs at my home. If I’m hosting, your dog will never be left alone for more than a few hours.

I’d love to meet your furry friend and care for them as if they were part of my own family.

My name is Georgia, I'm 30y old and I have been living in Australia for the last 6 years.I have always been passionate about animals, I completed two years of veterinary school and now i am studying veterinary nursering! I grew up taking care of animals with my family. I enjoy an active lifestyle and love taking dogs for walks, beach strolls, and outdoor adventures when appropriate.
I currently live on the Gold Coast and have a cavoodle who is my love. She goes with me wherever I go. I live in a safe, dog-friendly home and always make sure pets are comfortable, calm, and happy in my care.
When your dog is with me, it will be well looked after and full of love and affection.
I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments.
I understand how important routine, safety, and trust are when caring for someone else’s pet, and I always treat them as if they were my own.

Hello! My name is Harley and I’m originally from Manchester, England. I’ve spent much of my life living abroad in Asia, where my family and I rescued and adopted many street dogs and cats. I’ve been lucky to care for animals of all ages, sizes and temperaments, and I currently come from a home with four cats and two dogs, so caring for animals is truly part of my everyday life.
Over the past several years I’ve provided pet sitting, dog walking and in-home care for families in Bali, Thailand and Sydney. This includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, and maintaining routines so pets feel relaxed and safe while their owners are away.
In Bali, I also spent time learning handling and behaviour techniques from a local dog trainer who had worked with Cesar Millan. This helped me better understand dog body language, calm energy, and how to approach dogs in a way that builds trust, especially with nervous or reactive pets.
I’m very mindful that every pet has a different personality. Some are energetic and playful, others are shy or anxious, and some just want quiet company. When I meet a pet, I take time to read their behaviour and adjust my approach so they never feel rushed or threatened.
I also have hands on experience giving pets tablets and applying creams and oils when needed. For example, I have regularly given my own dog oral tablets and applied topical treatments to his fur and skin, always gently and calmly to keep him relaxed.
One of my favourite pet sitting memories was caring for two cats and a dog in Bali. After feeding them, walking the dog and spending time playing and grooming them, all three ended up curled up around me on the couch, completely relaxed and happy. Moments like that are why I love doing this.
I offer dog walking, house sitting and pet sitting, drop in visits, feeding and playtime, and companionship and routine care.
I cover areas all across the Gold Coast and can also travel to select areas past Coomera. I’m available Monday to Friday from 2pm onwards, and with notice I can sometimes be available earlier in the day.
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing always come first. I make sure dogs are walked securely, routines are followed, homes are respected, and pets receive plenty of attention, exercise and care.
I’d love to meet you and your pet. Feel free to reach out to arrange a meet and greet anytime

Hello!
My name is Laura and I live in Varsity Lakes on the beautiful Gold Coast, in a peaceful, green neighbourhood perfect for walks, playtime, and relaxing in the backyard.
I've always been passionate about animals – I've grown up with dogs, cats and horses! My biggest motivation to become a pet sitter is to share that love by giving your furry friends the attention, care, and adventure they deserve while you're away. I truly enjoy making pets feel at home, happy, and loved – there's nothing better than a wagging tail and those joyful moments together! ️
My experience with dogs:

I was lucky to have a dog when I was younger, named Kery – he was a very cute, trained, and well-behaved poodle
Last year, during a full year, I was living with a Polynesian family in Tahiti and took care of their dog, called Given – he was very athletic and lovely! 🦮
Also, I very regularly pet sit 2 dogs: a very young energetic Frenchton called Elio & a big Beauceron that is a quiet strength called Senna! They are truly the best

I only accept vaccinated pets into my home to ensure everyone's safety. This keeps things secure and stress-free!
I'm reliable, patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog's personality and needs. I always send photos and updates. I offer daily dog walking, doggy day care at my home, overnight boarding, home visits, and pick-up/drop-off services.
Your four-legged family members will be in loving, caring hands!
Looking forward to meeting you and your companion
Laura

My name is Tiffany & I live for Dogs! My most recent dog passed away a month ago, so I don’t currently have one of my own.

In the past, I have owned 2x Rescue Staffy Crosses and a Bullmastiff Cross.

Large Dogs are my favourites but I love all breeds and sizes. I cant imagine a life without them and loves that my life revolves around them.

I have had experience caring for a friends Labradors cross for 9 months, a friends kelpie cross Spaniel for 6 weeks, and doing day care with American Staffys, English Staffys, Bordercollie Crosses, Jack Russell's, Mini Foxis, Cavalear King Charles and Maltese Cross, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Dalmatian's and Bullmastiff crosses.

I have experience with Rescue Dogs, dogs with complex needs including chronic health conditions, like pancreatitis, epilepsy, ear infections, skin sensitivities, cancer etc. I have also had experience with Bolters- I am vigilant around doors opening and shutting.

I’m a reliable, caring and responsible animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. I currently have a dog of my own back home with my family in New Zealand, so I understand how important it is to know your pet is receiving the same love, attention and care they would receive from you.
I’ve also cared for friends’ and family members’ pets, including dogs and rabbits, sometimes for several weeks at a time. This has given me experience managing feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic care and different personalities and routines.

I understand that every pet is different, and I’m comfortable adapting my approach to suit their individual needs. For anxious or nervous dogs, I take a calm and patient approach, giving them time to settle in rather than overwhelming them. If a dog has behavioural challenges, such as separation anxiety, nervousness around new people or other dogs, excessive barking or difficulty settling, I follow their usual routine and any instructions provided by their owner. I’m also happy to care for multiple pets at once and make sure each pet receives individual attention, while keeping feeding, walking and medication routines organised.

I’m flexible with my availability and can provide daytime visits, regular walks or overnight house sitting depending on what works best for you and your pet. For visits, I can provide fresh food and water, playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks and exercise. I’m also happy to stay overnight if your pet is happiest in their own home and familiar surroundings.

I love taking dogs on regular walks and can provide walks from 30 minutes to over an hour, depending on your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine. I enjoy giving dogs time to explore, sniff and enjoy the outdoors while making sure they remain safe and comfortable.

Your pet’s safety is always my priority. In an emergency, I would contact you immediately, follow your instructions and seek veterinary assistance if required. I’ll also provide regular photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you’re away.
Most importantly, I treat every pet as an individual and genuinely care about making them feel comfortable, loved and well looked after.

Hi,
I'm Ben, I live in Burleigh with my dog Obie, he's a 3yo rescued gentle giant that wants nothing more than to go for walks, drives, swims & of coarse eat every chance he gets,
Myself, I'm a Self Employed Carpenter, that enjoys a healthy work to life ratio, I believe it's important to have a happy, healthy life, so I take on smaller jobs, so I can have more time for myself, the pets & my hobbies.
There's room in my home & yard to look after your pets for short amounts of time, max a few hours that Obie & myself can keep them entertained, trained, with walks, beach trips, runs, swims till they're worn out & ready to sleep, but I believe pets are always more comfortable at home so aternatively I prefer to provide home visits, training, walks, house & pet sitting, this way your furry friend gets to stay in a yard & sleep in a home that they are familiar with.
I have a Ute so I can provide transport & do multiple trips/visits per day, so you can be assured your furry loved our will get lots of play time & walks in new locations with lots of new things to sniff. Walks can range from 30mins to an hour & any other requirements can be discussed.
I also have had reptiles & am more than happy to look after these amazing creatures also.
Anyway let me know what you & your pets needs are & I'm happy to help!!
Ben.
