Hi everyone,
My name is Anikó, I grew up in the Hungarian countryside.  My family always had dogs, cats, pigs, chickens ..when I was a kid I had to look after them. Also our neighbor had ducks, sheep, horses, cattle, where I always sneaked in.   I'm currently the mother of 2 rescued cats. 
I know how hard it is to find a reliable person to look after your pets while you are away, as I have struggled with this in the past. That's why I'm here. I'm not professional but quite confident in taking care of dogs and cats and am not afraid of large pets. I am very happy to reassure you that your fur babies will be in good hands with me. I know all pets have different personalities, but I try to find ways to bond with them and make them feel safe around me.
I work a few days a week so I can offer one or two home visits ( mornings and afternoons 30-40 minutes each time) usually on weekdays, depending on availability as I spend a lot of time at my partners farm in NSW.
Sending regular updates, feeding, cleaning, giving oral medication if necessary.  Also watering your plants, pick up deliveries (we needed that while we were away).

I am a semi-retired engineer, married, 3 daughters and male dog, not any dog but a full breed Boxer, 42 kilos of it. And he enjoy his daily walks as well.  I proud myself to keep physically fit with walks and bike rides, therefore Pawshake presented as a win/win opportunity, why not getting some cash and at the same enjoy the company of  a nice canine friend. I have used the service as a Customer on my travels in the last 5 years and was very pleased with the results. I like to meet the Customer first, meaning the owner and the dog, to make sure I get the full instructions and we can see compatibility as the goal is to have a very pleasant experience on both sides.  I can do walks, site visit, feeding and give oral medicine if required. No cats for me, I am a dog person and have had 8 dogs in the last ...lets just say over 40 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;


Hi everyone! I’m Ricarda, and I’m 48 years old. I’m a teacher, and I’ve always had a strong connection with dogs, having grown up with them since I was a kid. Being around these loyal, loving companions taught me early on just how important their physical and emotional wellbeing truly is.
Over the years, I’ve developed a real passion for understanding their needs and behaviours, which naturally led me to dog walking as a way to share that care with other pups. I get a huge amount of joy from giving dogs the exercise, attention and companionship they deserve. The trust and bond that build during each walk motivate me every day, and it’s incredibly rewarding to know I can offer an enriching experience for both dogs and their owners.
Alongside dog walking, I also provide home visits and house sitting in the owner’s home. I’m very careful, loving and responsible, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behaviour and routines. During home visits, I make sure pets are fed, comfortable, entertained and given plenty of affection. With house sitting, I stay in the pet’s home to keep them feeling secure in their familiar environment, maintaining their usual schedule and offering companionship throughout the day. My priority is always their safety, happiness and emotional wellbeing.
I’m also a cat lover,  I have a cat of my own named Guppy,  and I’m always happy and ready to look after cats in their own home, giving them the calm, gentle care they need while their owners are away.
Being a dog walker and pet carer allows me to combine my lifelong love for animals with the chance to support their happiness and health  and I absolutely love what I do.&nbsp;

I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and taking care of them has always felt completely natural to me. I’ve had my own dog since he was a puppy, he’s now 13 and still full of life. Growing up with him taught me so much about patience, responsibility, and what it means to truly care for another being. I’ve also helped a friend by walking her two dogs at once, which gave me great experience handling different personalities and energy levels.

What really drives me to be a pet sitter is the happiness animals bring into my life. Dogs especially bring out this deep sense of love and joy that I can’t quite explain, they just make everything better. I love making them feel safe, seen, and loved.
