My name is Lauren, and while I am a new Pawshake sitter, I've been surrounded by pets my entire life. I have two beautiful dogs of my own, and they are a huge part of my life. 
I grew up in a household with 2 dogs, 3 cats, 7 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 2 birds, 2 mice, and many fish! So it's safe to say I am comfortable and experienced looking after all creatures, great and small. 
I deeply understand that our pets are apart of our family and leaving them home alone can be a difficult decision. It's important that you have someone you can trust in the privacy of your own home, and to care for your littlest loves. 
I am available for day visits and dog walking in Canberra and surrounds, and would love the opportunity to look after your pets so you can relax with the peace of mind they are in safe hands. I will provide your pets with all the care they need including food, water, medication, cuddles, play/enrichment time, and I will clean up any accidents to ensure you come home to a clean and tidy house and a happy pet. 
I have over 10 years of experience caring for elderly dogs or those who require regular medication (including all the tips and tricks for those pets who need to be tricked into taking their medicine!). I have adopted multiple rescue dogs in my life and have a soft spot for giving them a second chance at life.

I also have 6 months of professional grooming experience and completed a 6-month grooming course. My volunteer work with animal rescues over the past 2 years has involved walking, enrichment, and caring for animals until they found their forever homes — helping me gain confidence in handling pets of all sizes, species, and temperaments.

My name is Nikita, I have owned dogs and cats my entire life and have owned birds for a large portion of my life. I have been doing pet/house sitting since 2020 and have many regular clients. I am based in the Canberra area but travel and location is not an issue, I will travel as far as Sydney and South Coast. I am comfortable looking after just about all pets, dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds ect. I have worked at a vet for about 8 months, so I am confident with administering medication of all kinds and noticing if something is not quite right with your furry friend. I have assisted in birth and neonatal care of puppies since I was 14 years old. I have worked at a dog kennel and cat flats for many years of my life. I have experience and confidence with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes, breed is not an issue.

I am currently only offering house/pet sitting at your house, dog walking, pet check ins once or twice a day and doggy outings. I do not have a limit of how long you will be requiring my service or a limit on number of pets. Before you book I would prefer to meet you and your pet/pets so we can make sure we all get along.
