Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Deer Park VIC Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Deer Park VIC cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Deer Park VIC cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

I love pets and have been pets (dogs, cats andparrots) for the past 16 years. I had a Rottweiler (Blue), a Boxer (Bonzo), 2cats (Mr. Cat - My 3 year old niece named him and Tom) and a parrot (Tottera.k.a Tot). While my boxer passed away, my brother is currently taking care ofmy pets back in India. After moving to Australia, I always wanted to have petsbut my wife, after having her heart broken when Bonzo passed away, is not yetready to have a new pet in our lives. But one thing we did agree on is that wewanted our daughter to love pets just as much as we do. This is the reason whywe do pet sitting/boarding just about anything to do with pets. You can see frommy pics that a lot of them have my daughter playing with the pets that comeover to our house. She adores every one of them and spends as much time as shecan with them. Having said that, while we do love pets we try to get vaccinatedpets as much as possible keeping in mind that our daughter is the one who isgoing to be around them a lot.
For Boarding this is what you can expect from us:
· 2 walks per day. One in the morning and one at night. Both ranginganywhere from 20-30 minutes. If the parent requests for longer/shorter walk, wedo accommodate them.
· We do board anywhere from 1-3 pets at a given time. If you make abooking request, we will let you know if there would be other pets (includingbreed/age of the pet) during your pet's stay. If you have already made abooking and we get another request, we do make sure that I also inform youabout the new booking (including the pet's breed/age)
· 1-2 updates (including pics) every day during boarding (sent via text/WhatsApp).
· I have administered ointments to dogs in the past. I also haveadministered medications (tablets - usually with food) to dogs and would beable to do that based on your instructions.
· I work from home and my/my wife's workstations overlook our backyard(fully fenced) where the pets would be most of the time. So your pet will beunder constant supervision.
For House Visits:
· I can provide food to your pets once in the morning and once in theevening/night.
· I can take them on short walks 10-15 mins in the morning (if needed).
· I can administer ointment (on bruises, for example) (or) administermedication as specified by the parent.
· I will provide daily updates (one for each visit) with pictures of yourloved pets along with a brief update (sent via text/WhatsApp).
For House Sitting:
· Same as the ones specified under boarding.
· I would request access to your wifi in order to be able to do my workwhile I am at your house.

Hi there!
I’m Nikhail from Singapore, and my partner Nicole is from Hong Kong. Back in Singapore, I used to volunteer at animal shelters to help with dog adoptions, and I’ve always been an animal lover at heart.

We share our home with two amazing dogs. First is Sooky, our 13-year-old Maltese x Jack Russell cross. We fostered him before adopting him from Lost Dog Homes, and he’s been the sweetest companion ever since. Even at his age, he’s still full of energy and loves rolling in the grass or sunbaking whenever he gets the chance.

Then there’s our puppy, Mallow (short for Marshmallow). She’s 6 months old, a Beagador, and will grow into a medium-sized dog. She’s playful, needy in the cutest way, and absolutely loves attention. We’ve been socialising her from a young age, and she’s done wonderfully with other dogs under our watchful care.

As for us, I work full-time mostly from home, heading into the office once or twice a week. Nicole also works full-time, so during weekdays she’s usually busy at work. Between the two of us, we balance the young energy of Mallow with the “old but gold” charm of Sooky. On the days I’m home, our furry friends get round-the-clock attention and care.

We love staying active and usually walk the dogs 2–3 times a day — it helps us hit our 10,000 steps too! Our home is pet-friendly, with a yard at the front and a back garage that has a small plot of land the dogs can use when we’re out.

It’s just the four of us — me, Nicole, Sooky, and Mallow — and we’d be more than happy to help care for your pets whenever you need an extra hand.

Hi I had the privilege of living with dogs, cats since childhood. So I would say I have around 30 years of experience with dogs .
Me and my husband love our fur baby to bits . We both are IT professional and we both 100% work from home and the best part of the daily routine is my fur baby Teddy is always next to me while I am working and we enjoy lots of time together. We would love to welcome other small- medium dogs to come and spend time with us.
Your pooch will be loved and respected in our care. They will be cuddled, walked and played by 4 of us
We would be happy for night boarding, day boarding as me and my husband are most of the time home. We have 2 teenage kids who love dogs as much as we do. So taking care of your fur baby would be enjoyable for all of us.
We would be happy to have your pet with us if vaccinations are done.
We have a big house, backyard fully fenced and safe. I am very cautious about safety of pets. We also provide more than 30 min walk twice a day. Your pet will be indoor with us and sleeping arrangements would be also inside.
I have a genuine love for dogs. They are our companions and special part of our family and bring so much joy and happiness to our lives.
I can care for 2 dog/puppies at a time in my home and 3rd one would be mine. I can also administer medications if required for your fur baby.
You will receive regular updates as I know how much we miss them when we are away.

We are ananimal loving family and I have lived with cats for over 50 years.
We currently have four cats and fish that we care for. I have an innate understanding of felines in particular and easily build rapport with even the most challenging and aloof kitties.
I can offer housesitting and play, meals and litter maintenance as well as some grooming if necessary. Whatever your kitty requires. I understood the essentials of cat first aid, and I am an experienced long-hair cat groomer. Happy also to assist with medications if required.
I enjoy the company of animals and they seem to like my company too.
Your animals would be assured of whatever their temperament requires to be well cared for and contented in their own home.
Also happy to care for fish and other small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs.
Happy to consider combining Care with small dogs.
