Hello, I hope to become your trusted minder, I enjoy taking care of a variety of animals. I live in Thornbury, where I have lived all of my life. When I am not home Cath (gran) is here to help look after the animals. There is someone home most of the time. My house and family are used to having animals around. We have a dog (Julia) and cat (Jolie). We live in a weatherboard home with a medium sized backyard. We also live close to All Nations Park which is great for dog walks and off leash play. Our preferred furry clients are all types of animals but if a dog only small to medium sized dogs. Please note that I accept multiple bookings at any one time so you can expect other pets at my place. Julia, our Heeler X Staffie, has learnt to live with lots of dogs coming into her home from Pawshake. However it takes her a little while to accept a new dog (usually about 10 minutes at first meet & greet). She can be a bit territorial at first, so I keep her on a lead until she gets used to new dogs running around her house and backyard. It works best with chilled personality dogs (or submissive dogs). Happy to discuss in more detail, so please send me a message if you'd like to know more. I can feed and care for all types of animals in either your home or mine. I am happy to administer medicines and treatments to your animals and can take them to appointments (if needed). I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, birds and reptiles. I am willing to learn about new animals as well. I am hoping to meet lots of new animals and become your trusted pet minder. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will care for yours just like it is my own. My two children also love animals, I have a son who is 12 and a daughter who is 9. Your pets can expect lots of cuddles and playtime with my children. They will be treated like one of my family. They will sleep indoors and on beds if that is what they are used to at home. If they are anxious, I will spend time with them and make sure that they have the attention they need. I am available for home visits outside of business hours and weekends. A home visit will include up to 30 minutes of attention for your animal. Home visits or walks might be a walk at a park or a cuddle and scratch on the couch, or talking to birds! I can also collect mail, put out bins, and clean up if needed. My preferred areas for home visits are: Thornbury, Northcote, Clifton Hill, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Brunswick, Coburg, Preston, Heidelberg and Ivanhoe.
