Hi, I'm Abi, 26, from Wales.

I've had many many pets in my time, from rats and mice, to lizards, to cats and dogs. I can honestly say I'm never as happy as when I'm with animals.

I'm in Australia on my working holiday visa, so as much as it pains me it wouldn't be feasible for me to have my own pet, which makes this the ideal job for me. I still get to play, love and look after animals.

I spent some time volunteering at a few rescue centres and have experience working at my cousins dog grooming salon.

I have a level 3 certificate in Animal Handling and Care, and am looking to complete more courses to further improve my knowledge of animals.
