Hello! I'm Kasey. I'm currently an aged care nurse based in Mornington and absolute lover of animals. I completed my Certificate II in Animal Studies in 2016 with Box Hill Institute and RSPCA Victoria. I've spent over a year volunteering with the RSPCA at their Peninsula animal shelter and have loved every second of it. My primary role as a volunteer was to ensure the environments the animals were living in were pristine and that they received as much love and TLC that I could possibly give. I also assisted significantly with feeding, walking, some training and grooming.
Thanks to my studies, I have been trained in animal emergency situations and first aid. I have plenty of experience with timid animals and those with behavioural problems and can read their body language and understand their needs well. I can provide oral medications if required and I do well at encouraging animals to eat if they are timid or have difficulties. I have some experience with training and grooming, however I am not a qualified groomer or trainer.
I myself have many pet animals including cats, dogs, birds, fish, and various reptiles who all live in a very loved home with the myself and the rest of my family. I can guarantee that I will treat your animals as if they were my own with endless TLC and attention. This love of animals and belief that they should all live happy and stress free lives is why I'm passionate about being a petsitter and providing optimal and tailored care for all animals
What I offer:
Dog Walking:
This includes coming to meet your dog and take them for a walk. This is suitable for people who are unable to walk their dog but still can provide it with food and water, as they are not included. I am happy to bring my own leash and treats if required.
1 - 2 visits a day:
Visits are fantastic if you're away from home and your animals don't mind being independent overnight. Whether you want 1 or 2 visits a day, these will include fresh water and food for your pets, playtime and TLC, administering oral medications if required, bringing in the mail/newspaper/bins, watering any plants, disposing of litter and daily reports of your animals including pictures upon request.
During these visits, I will do my best to continue with the routine you already have, so your loved animals feel more comfortable and safe while you're away. This includes routines like walking, grooming and training.
Housesitting:
House sitting is best for those animals that like to have attention and love 24/7. Housesitting includes everything that home visits due, but also means that I will stay at your place so your pet(s) always have someone there to keep them company. This option is fantastic for animals with anxiety or those that aren't used to being on their own.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Kasey did a great job looking after our many pets, including our very old cat. They were all well and happy when I got home.
Kasey was great, dogs were happy. I’ll definitely use her services again. Thanks.
